Not everyone can make it up to Gainesville’s fall punk-rock bacchanal, Bay area fans can thank Chewy Hemphill for bringing a slice of The Fest to town.

In its seventh year (and this time featuring co-promotion from Locust Parade), Pre-Fest takes over Hooch for two days of music from nearly two dozen bands from all over the world including the U.K’s Sunliner, Phantom Bay from Germany, plus nationals (Fat Heaven from New York, Se Vende from California) and local favorites, too. Two mystery bands are on the bill, and if Hemphill’s connections over the years mean anything, expect them to be heavy hitters.

Tickets to Tampa Bay Pre-Fest 7 happening at Tampa’s Hooch and Hive Wednesday-Thursday, Oct. 25-26 are still available and start at $20 for single-day passes.
