Sunset Music Festival fans are going to have to hibernate this year. Today, the festival, which was hoped to host its 2024 edition this summer at a new venue, announced plans to take the year off.

“While we had hoped to unveil the new venue this year, it’s now clear it won’t be ready until 2025,” SMF wrote on social media. “Rather than compromise on Sunset’s quality, we’ve decided to take a year off to ensure our return exceeds expectations.”

Sunset, which hosts a stacked lineup of modern EDM producers, typically happens outside Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium over Memorial Day weekend.
