Ol’ Dirty Sundays anniversaries are starting to feel like clockwork, but don’t let the weekly party’s consistently good lineup of DJs fool you into thinking that organizers have grown complacent. Each week always brings top-notch talent to rock the Crowbar patio, and this edition celebrating ODS’ seventh anniversary is no exception. Teeko’s turntablism is revered among producers and hip-hop heads (he’s worked with Mark Ronson, D’Angelo, Q-tip, and the late Heavy D, amongst others), but he’s also recognized in less traditional forums (he was the first electronic act to play the Monterey Jazz Festival, and Berklee School of Music in Boston once gave him a Milestones Innovative Producer’s Award).

Joining Teeko for the party will be former hardcore rapper Lord Finesse, who arrived out of the Bronx in the late '80s/early '90s thanks to work with the D.I.T.C. crew and an album with DJ Mike Smooth (Funky Technician) before really leaving his mark on the genre by helping produce works by O.C., Noreaga and Notorious B.I.G. Doors are a little earlier for this one (8 p.m.), but it’s no dress code and no cover like it’s always been. (Crowbar, Ybor City) INFO
