With the death of Allman Brothers founding member and Osprey resident Dickey Betts last month, Devon Allman, Duane Betts and Berry Duane Oakley (with a little help from Roy Orbison’s drummer son, Alex) are bound to have an emotional Memorial Day for more reasons than one.

Be that as it may, it’s still great to have the jam band back on the scene, as the 2022 iteration of Gasparilla Music Festival served as the guys’ last gig before a yearlong hiatus that saw Allman and Betts temporarily focus on respective solo performances.

Tickets to see The Allman Betts Band with JD Simo play Clearwater’s Bilheimer Capitol Theatre on Monday, May 27 are still available and start at $49.50.
