Gasparilla Music Festival’s initial lineup announcement isn’t supposed to happen until 11 a.m. today, but The Avett Brothers already spilled the beans and revealed their March 9 slot at Curtis Hixon Park in Tampa.

The date appeared on the band’s website and is part of a tour announcement that includes just one other Florida show on March 10 at Tallahassee’s Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

Tickets to Gasparilla Music Festival start at $30, and we’re presuming that The Avett Brothers, who teased a new album last week, will headline GMF’s Saturday lineup (tickets to attend just Saturday are $40).
