A fish-eye lens promotional photograph by Larry Niehues featuring Patrick Carney and Dan Auerbach of the rock duo The Black Keys standing outside an industrial brick building. Positioned on the right in the foreground, Dan Auerbach stands facing forward wearing aviator sunglasses, a short-sleeved light blue button-down shirt, and dark trousers with a belt. On the left in the midground, Patrick Carney stands with arms crossed in profile view, wearing black-framed glasses, a dark vertically-striped short-sleeve button-down shirt, and dark jeans. The building behind them features large grid-style glass windows, exposed red brickwork, ivy growth along the corner, and a brown grass lawn under sunny daylight.

The Black Keys had to postpone concerts in the Midwest last week due to Canadian wildfires. That kind of smoke won’t be an issue at The BayCare Sound in Clearwater.

The band built around guitarist-singer Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney is touring in support of a new album, Peaches, a collection of covers that finds the band back in form but still underwhelming critics who treat their copy of Thickfreakness like some kind of hipster badge of honor.

Tickets to see The Black Keys and Eddie 9V at The BayCare Sound in Clearwater on Tuesday, July 28 are still available and start at $61.50.
