Reigning from the hills of El Monte, California, right outside of Los Angeles, The Red Pears will will bring their west coast indie-rock to Tampa’s Hooch and Hive alongside fellow SoCal band The Grinns. Sunday's show marks the first time these lo-fi rock outfits, which have tirelessly played throughout the west coast over the past few years, are playing a show in Tampa.

Local support comes from Tampa band Lovey and Fort Myers/Tampa surf-rock four-piece Yr Glow, which reached out to the Red Pears via email after noticing that the band had a day off of tour in between Savannah and Orlando.

“Beau mentioned it to me and I said we should try to email them; we thought the worst they can do is say no,” D’Angelo Casanas told CL. “So we just sent the email and they responded right away. We’re stoked.” Yr Glow then reached out to Aestheticized Presents for help securing a venue, and the show at Hooch and Hive was set in stone.
