Honestly, this probably wasn't what Truckstop Coffee envisioned when they booked a small tour through the Southeast in support of their new album, For Dear Life, but the road can be a cruel mistress and she decided to slap the band around pretty hard this time around. Larry, the drummer, fell head-first into a campfire, resulting in a couple of nights in a Georgia burn unit (for his hand, not his head). Then, Bob the bassist somehow managed to break a rib. Caleb and Pete made it back to Florida in one piece but this past Saturday night's show at New World was just Pete performing solo, thus turning a rock show into a singer/songwriter set.
