August Burns Red w/A Day to Remember/Silverstein/Enter Shikari The prog metal of Pennsylvania fivesome August Burns Red is marked by thunderous rhythmic breakdowns, guitar riffs and solos with unexpected time signatures, and the gut-wrenching howls of lead screamer Jake Luhrs. The band released their third album, Constellations, in 2009, and it debuted at No. 24 on the Billboard Top 200 charts. Other like-sounding bands, including Ocalas own A Day to Remember, provides support. 6:30 p.m., The Ritz Ybor, Ybor City, $23.
Amos Lee [pictured] Silken-voiced Amos Lee has charmed fans with his guitar-driven fusion of jazz and soul since his 2005 debut on Blue Note. Though hes best known for his romantic sentiments, Lee influences range from Bob Dylan to Bill Withers. On his most recent release, 2008s Last Days at the Lodge, Lee lost some of the shimmer and got a little grittier his vocals in cuts like Wont Let Me Go teeter between Maxwell-esque falsetto and Marc Broussard rasp while album-closer Better Days is straightforward folk balladry. 7:30 p.m., Capitol Theatre, Clearwater, $36 and $49. Matthew Spencer
