Austin Lucas Austin Lucas wants to put out a record, so he’s hitting the road. You just won’t be able to find him playing any clubs, festivals or cafés. Nah, Lucas — an Indiana troubadour with a voice from country heaven — is going home for this one. The homes of his fans to be exact. His self-booked, 50-date house show concert hits Tampa on Saturday, and devotees will get the satisfaction of seeing Lucas up close and then reliving the concert by downloading a recording of the show they attend. Don’t let the radio fool you. Country music is alive and well — Lucas is proof. The address of the show will be shared after completing purchase on austinlucas.com. (House Show, Tampa) INFO

One Last Dance & Drink with Shawn Ellis w/Telekinetic Walrus/Reality Asylum/Changer/Deaf Company/The Rosewoods/DEA & Saint/Yogurt Smoothness/Jimbo Shrump/Justin LIttle/more There is a lot of memorializing happening in Music Week (there’s also a tribute to late composer/vocalist Jason Miller set for Monday), and this show is a celebration of life for Shawn Ellis. The 32-year-old was a reliable friend for those who frequented St. Pete’s 600 Block, and his friends have collected a roster of Shawn’s favorite bands (especially psychedelic hip hop troupe Telekinetic Walrus) to help raise money for Ellis’ adopted children who are 10 and seven years old.
