Born on this date in 1950 in Rockford, Illinois — longtime, original Cheap Trick drummer Bun E. Carlos. Born Brad Carlson, Bun E. served as the main archivist for the band and had stored years of audio recordings of the band's live performances. Although estranged from the band since 2010,Carlos became a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee in 2016 with the rest of the band when they were honored with the prestigious award.
