Between the Buried and Me w/Contortionist/Polyphia/Toothgrinder North Carolina prog-rockers Between the Buried and Me are going to have a little extra room to spread out tonight since a show originally slated for State Theatre has been moved to Jannus due to construction at State. Tonight's show celebrated the 10th anniversary of the band's fourth studio LP, Colors, which (along with its moniker) earned the band a reputation as purveyors of "adult contemporary progressive death metal." Not a band title, indeed. (State Theatre Jannus Live, St. Petersburg) INFO

Lynette Skynyrd Southyrn California comes to Skippyr's Smokehouse tonight for a very punny, all gyrl tribute act honoring, well, you can figure that out by now. (Skipper’s Smokehouse, Tampa) INFO
