✔️  Badi Assad There was a time when the world would’ve believed that it had heard the last bit of new music from Badi Assad (thanks, seven-year hiatus). All’s well now though, and the Bay area has been lucky enough to see the Brazilian songwriter, singer, guitarist and percussion player twice in the last couple of years (she played south Tampa’s Replay Guitar Exchange last October). We’d take even more, however, since Badi, 50, is one of the most animated purveyors of worldbeat.
