✔️  Sound Of Ceres w/Breathers/Pleasures Sound of Ceres is one of those bands with an aesthetic that would’ve fit perfectly at the now-shuttered Ybor location of New World Brewery (the 22-year-old venue was forced to close last week to make way for condos and retail), but promoters are just going to have to make do. The Colorado duo’s latest — The Twin, due October 17 6 — should do just fine at The Hub, however, where a dim, smoky room will cocoon the shoegazing, electro-pop dreamscape Karen and Ryan Hover create on songs like lead single “Gemini Scenic.” (The Hub, Tampa) INFO

Let’s Play Two Famed rock photographer and filmmaker Danny Clinch can rest easy on Tuesday knowing that his epic documentation of Pearl Jam’s history-making two-night stand at Chicago’s Wrigley Field gets to take a spin on the reels at this beloved — and equally historic — downtown movie house. Visit here to read about Tampa Theatre’s impressive run of music flicks, and whether or not fans can expect to see more. (Tampa Theatre, Tampa) INFO

✔️  PVRIS w/Lights/Party Nails PVRIS singer Lynn Gunn wants to live in an old John William Waterhouse painting on “Anyone Else,” the latest single from the Massachusetts band’s new album — All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell — which Gunn & Co. released in August. The dark electronica PVRIS (pronounced “Paris”) makes was good enough to earn the band a slot opening for Muse, and fans who caught that May set at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre are in for a treat when the band headlines this much smaller room. ✔️  VNV Nation w/ivardensphere Victory has trumped vengeance for Ronon Harris ever since the Londoner founded his legendary EBM outfit, VNV Nation, in 1990. Harris, along with drummer Mark Jackson, has released almost a dozen albums in the time since, and fans have yet to grow weary of the band’s sound, even as they took a turn towards harder beats on a 2005 LP, Matter + Form. The band’s 2015 album, Resonance, was extremely popular in its new home of Germany, but fans should expect VNV Nation to play its albums Automatic and Empires in their entirety at this one. Read our interview with the band here and head to The Castle just a few blocks away for an after-party. (The Orpheum, Ybor City) INFO

✔️  David Ryan Harris It’s been what, a month, since Tampa last saw David Ryan Harris? Fans not paying attention may have missed the Los Angeles songwriter as part of the band John Mayer brought to Amalie Arena in August, but they’ll get a chance to see Harris — touring in support of a new album, Songs For Other People — front and center at this solo listening room gig powered by an electric guitar and Harris’ one-of-a-kind voice and gift for melody. Head here to read an interview where we reminisce about the time Harris’s early band — Follow for Now — opened for Pearl Jam at Jannus Landing in 1992. (The Attic at Rock Brothers, Brewing) INFO

Chris Isaak Does reverb ever get old? Sometimes, but not when Chris Isaak is on the other end of an old hollow body delivering it while belting out songs like “Wicked Game” and “Baby Did A Bad Thing” in his trademark, Roy Orbison-loving croon. The 61 year old hasn’t released anything since 2015’s First Comes the Night, but that won’t stop the diehards from “Dancin’” like “It’s Now or Never” at the Cap. (Capitol Theatre, Clearwater) INFO
