G. Love and Special Sauce w/Yonder Mountain String Band/The Railsplitters It’s been just over a year since their last Jannus set, so Colorado’s Yonder Mountain String band are back to bring jamgrass back to St. Pete. There will be a little bit of Philadelphia blues at this one, too thanks to the addition of G. Love and Special Sauce. Will they appear in each others’ sets? We hope so, and we’re excited to see how YMSB’s latest album, Black Sheep, has evolved since its release in 2015. (Jannus Live, St. Petersburg) INFO

Aaron Lewis It’s been awhile…since Aaron Lewis hit the Tampa Bay area, but that’s fine for the self-proclaimed “Northern Redneck” (and Staind frontman) who arrives at this country megaplex for a set supporting his latest album of confessional country, Sinner. (Dallas Bull, Tampa) INFO

Death w/Jacuzzi Boys/DRUG There are many who say that Death invented punk, and you can read the Detroit outfit’s thoughts on that in our interview here. What you should know right here, and right now is that the band will be doing a meet and greet with fans at Daddy Kool Records at 3 p.m. EST, and fans should not stray too far since Tampa Bay’s own DRUG have been tapped to open the show alongside Miami’s Jacuzzi Boys who are here in support of their fourth full length, last year’s Ping Pong, where they keep inching out of the garage and closer towards a sound that teeters towards more polished pop that will surely expand their audience without alienating early co-signers.
