DieAlps! LP Release w/Pohgoh/Kerry Courtney Three years after dropping an EP of baroque-pop, frontwoman Connie Calcaterra wrote in her bedroom, Tampa indie-rock outfit DieAlps! Is finally sharing its debut full-length, Our City, where Calcaterra’s husband Frank shares co-writing duties and bears the full recording, mixing and mastering load for a group that has added new sonic wrinkles to an already loveable sound. Read our profiles on the band on here and here before it is joined by old-school Tampa emo royals Pohgoh and St. Petersburg songwriter Kerry Courtney. (New World Brewery, Ybor City) INFO
In The Raw w/Slane/Geri X/Dean Johanesen/Ivan Pena/Rebekah Pulley/Natty Moss Band and Sam Bond/Ben Bakker In our 2002 Best of the Bay issue (vote on 2017 now, people!), CL decided that a new songwriter series — “In The Raw” — was the “Best Alternative to the Coffee House.” The fun ended in 2006, but the series is returning for one night only when The Gita’s Joran Slane will be joined by a veritable who’s who of Tampa Bay songsmiths — Geri X, Dean Johanesen, Ivan Pena (Soulfound, Rise of Saturn, Redlight Stare), Rebekah Pulley, Natty Moss Bond with Sam Bond (Multi Color House, Sparky’s Nightmare, Skully) and Ben Bakker (Rumors of War) — at St. Pete’s Hideaway Café. Those of you who didn’t live here when it was all going down can get a taste wherever you stream music by searching for “In the Raw: Best of Season One.”(Hideaway Café, St. Petersburg) INFO
Steve Everett w/Kristopher James The listening room above Rock Brothers Brewing in Ybor welcomes a new name, but familiar sound, to its space when Nashville songwriter Steve Everett – who’s opened for Attic favorites Sister Hazel and Michael Tolcher elsewhere across the country — arrives in support of a January EP, Outstandards, which finds him adding heavy synth and drum programming to the kind of pop singer-songwriter fare you’re currently hearing all over Top 40 radio. CL favorite Kristopher James opens the show. (The Attic at Rock Brothers Brewing, Ybor City) INFO
Your Pest Band w/Invisible Teardrops/The Tim Version/Old Vices The second leg of Your Pest Band’s Tampa Bay leg finds the Tokyo-based punks linking up with Florence, Alabama rock and rollers Invisible Teardrops at downtown Tampa’s most happening-est dives. (The Hub, Tampa) INFO
Infinite Third w/Gullwing & (the) Cave Trains Billy Mays III is back from a tour, and he’ll bring his experimental guitar project Infinite Third to St. Pete’s Paper Crane for a set alongside post-rockers Gullwing and Tampa sludge maker Frank Hezzalia and the Cave Trains. (Paper Crane, St. Petersburg) INFO

Glass House Point Single Release w/Miroux/Grand Lotus Tampa alt-rockers Glass House Point celebrates the release of a new single — and kicking off a 12-date, 23-day tour — at Crowbar where it’ll be joined by a trio of central Florida rock acts like rising indie-pop quartet Grand Lotus. (Crowbar, Ybor City) INFO
The Sh-Booms w/Gino & The Goons/The Jackettes These three bands (Orlando garage-soul collective The Sh-Booms, pop maestros The Jackettes and garage rock band Gino & the Goons) were on three separate bills last week, so this is a good chance to skip paying a cover altogether as St. Pete’s swankiest of dives corrals the trio under one roof for a sweaty night of never saying no to “one more drink.” (The Bends, St. Petersburg) INFO
GRAMMY Museum Music Revolution Project Showcase For half a decade now, the Grammy museum’s Music Revolution project (an educational initiative that offers hand-selected, talented Bay area youth a tuition-free chance to partake in musical workshops, songwriting courses while also recording original material) has spent a month in Clearwater enhancing the lives of 13 to 19 year olds. The kids will show off what they’ve learned at this showcase, and we’ll all keep our fingers and toes crossed in the hopes that some of them end up making a living in the music industry. (Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater) INFO
Robin Mark He came all the way from Belfast in Northern Ireland to through down some contemporary Christian james, so you’ve gotta believe that this set from songwriter Robin Mark is a pretty hot ticket in the Brandon area, right? (Shoresh David Messianic Synagogue, Brandon) INFO
Joe Gifted Atlanta emcee Joseph Mclester III (FKA Joe Gutta, now known as Joe Gifted) makes a quick appearance at this Eighth Avenue hip-hop stronghold where he’s slated to perform his new hit song, “Water.” (Skye, Ybor City) INFO
