Matchbox 20 w/Counting Crows It’s hard to believe that Matchbox Twenty released its greatest hits compilation a decade ago (what was more crazy was that Rob Thomas & co felt like their 90’s alt-rock hit machine was in its greatest hits phase).  Now, 22 years after the group formed out of Orlando, Matchbox 20 earned seniority amongst the college rock bands that flared up in the late 90s before flaming out a few years later. Thomas recently appeared in Tampa for a private charity event, but returns for the masses for this one where Adam Duritz's beloved Counting Crows will open the show.
