Gasparilla Music Festival w/Ryan Adams/Chronixx/Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe/Kelsey Waldon/Phoebe Bridgers/more The sixth iteration of what’s become most eclectic and fan-forward Bay area music festival takes over the Kiley Gardens and Curtis Hixon Park for two days of country, indie, hip hop, pop and seriously everything in between. Kids under 12 get in free (and Grammy winning kiddo band Secret Agent 23 Skidoo play on Sunday) meaning this is fun for the whole family. Look here to read a preview of the fest and head to cltampa.com/music to see even more tips for getting the most out of your Gasparilla Music Festival experience. The Superstars CD Release w/Ronnie Dee/Ken Logan/Joe Sanders is one of those undersung Tampa Bay musicians who quietly elevate the quality of locally grown music without asking for any attention. Tonight he and his Superstars celebrate the release of a new LP, and proceeds of the show will go towards the American Cancer Society. (The Chic-A-Boom Room, Dunedin) INFO

[Beatsnchill] w/STLNDRMS/Leto Beats/Ace Sinclair You better come with it when you call yourself the Rob Bass of beats. We’ve got no doubt that STLNDRMS (“stolen drums” if you can’t imagine the vwls) will show out for this edition of producer pow wow [beatnchill], but check out his latest collections of boom-bap, hip-hop and chillwave (Blue Street and Tillman St., both released in January) for proof. Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience w/Ramin Djawadi You might not recognize the name Ramin DJawadi, but there’s a good chance he’s part of your life. The 42 year old German born composer is the guy behind the music on HBO’s “Westworld” and “Game of Thrones.” He brings Westeros to Tampa’s Amalie Arena for this one, and he’s getting a lot of help thanks to a full orchestra and choir who’ll bring the show’s score to life while an intricate visual display plays along. The seventh season of GOT is due sometime this year, but this will be the first time fans get to experience it like this. (Amalie Arena, Tampa) INFO

Matt Woods w/The Lonely Ones One of the South’s realest country songwriters and his full band blow into Seminole Heights from Knoxville, Tennessee for a set in support of a painfully heartfelt 2016 LP, How To Survive. Free shows, good beer and better people. What more could you want? (Independent Bar and Cafe, Tampa) INFO

Oso Oso w/Dikembe/Expert Timing/Snacking/Weak Knees Like crying, huh? Well lucky you. Mixtapes are usually for rappers, but Jade Lilitri’s new LP, The Yunahon Mixtape, is one of best collections of poppy emo to come out in the first quarter of 2017. The former State Lines singer/guitarist is joined by some of CL’s favorite Florida bands (Gainesville’s Dikembe, Orlando’s Expert Timing and Tampa Bay’s own Weak Knees) for what might be one of the best pop punk shows of the year.
