If you trust Edwin McCain, then you’re gonna want to be at The Straz Center’s Jaeb Theater today when Shelburne, Massachusetts folkie and activist Seth Glier brings a four-part discography to Tampa.
“If any of you are wondering what the future of music will look like,” McCain — famous for his hit “I’ll Be” — once said, “Seth is it.”
Heavy stuff, and the topics on Glier’s songs leans the same way, especially when it comes to songs like “Love Is A Language” where he speaks up for the children and adults with autism (his brother Jamie was born with it and Lennox–Gastaut syndrome).
Listen to a little of it upstairs, and watch a TEDx talk from Glier below. (Jaeb Theater at the David A. Straz Center for the Performing Arts, Tampa) INFO
