If you trust Edwin McCain, then you’re gonna want to be at The Straz Center’s Jaeb Theater today when Shelburne, Massachusetts folkie and activist Seth Glier brings a four-part discography to Tampa.

“If any of you are wondering what the future of music will look like,” McCain — famous for his hit “I’ll Be” — once said, “Seth is it.”

Heavy stuff, and the topics on Glier’s songs leans the same way, especially when it comes to songs like “Love Is A Language” where he speaks up for the children and adults with autism (his brother Jamie was born with it and Lennox–Gastaut syndrome).
