On this special night of avant grooves, The Clinic Jazz Quartet – David Pate (saxophones, woodwinds), Bill Folwell (bass, trumpet), Jim Stewart (drums, world percussion) and Ella “Stella” Fredrickson (theremin, amplified cello) – stage a holidays-fueled program in their usual spontaneous experimental manner, improvising all the music while yielding to subtle guidelines that continuously change the textures, timbres and trajectory of the sounds.
