Believe it or not, Landon Conrath kept his voice hidden behind a drum kit for years, until he tried a new song in front of a friend at a pool party.

Not long after, the now-24-year-old started releasing indie-pop on Spotify. His debut album Nothing Matters Anyway, features “Trader Joe’s,” a “melancholic melody about those moments where it feels like everything is taking a turn for the worse.”

Conrath opens for San Antonio-based power-pop outfit Wild Party at what appears to be its first gig in Tampa Bay.

Tickets to see Wild Party, Landon Conrath and more play the Music Hall inside Tampa’s New World Brewery on Tuesday, Dec. 5 are still available and cost $18.
