Travis Scott’s last-minute cancelation of his sold-out November 2018 Tampa show at Amalie Arena had fans scrambling (the post was one of cltampa.com/music’s most-visited blogs of the year), but the “Sicko Mode” star quickly announced this makeup show, which saw a few tickets become available after “technical production issues” changed plans.
Scott has had quite the run since the postponed date thanks to his Astroworld festival, Super Bowl appearance and high-profile romance with Kylie Jenner, but we’re most impressed with how much money the tour has grossed to date (485,659 tickets have grossed $34.3 million according to Billboard). With several stops left on the jaunt, the 27-year-old could end up in the same league as Kanye West and Jay-Z, who respectively grossed $52.8 million and $48.7 million on their last tours.
