Mike Love’s Beach Boys made headlines last week when co-founder and animal rights defender Brian Wilson welcomed his fans to boycott all of the famous surf-rock band’s music in defiance of the (Trump lovin’) Mike Love-led Beach Boys performing at the Safari Club International Convention, a pro-trophy hunting organization.

Hopefully none of this drama will make it to The Beach Boys’ sold-out Clearwater performance this Saturday at Ruth Eckerd Hall, where the now-ironic song “Good Vibrations” is set to echo through the high ceilings of the Ruth Eckerd Hall.
