Let’s face it: half of you reading this probably went to one of the first Warped Tours. Shit, some of you probably even played the then-fledgling punk rock circus in its early days. Most of you probably wouldn’t recognize half the bands on the 2017 lineup either, but that’s okay because in its 23rd year, organizers of the travelling festival still manage to sneak a handful of old-school favorites (see Simi Valley skate-punks Strung Out or Pennsylvania activists Anti-Flag) in with at least one or two breaking bands we love (this year its Atlanta emo dudes Microwave).

What’s more is that St. Pete’s Vinoy Park has more than enough room to accommodate the throngs of fans who hit Warped year in and year out (room for 15,000 people to be exact).
