One of Tampa’s greatest active punk rock frontmen (Vic Alvarez of Awkward Age) brings a new single (“Flashpoint”/”Straight Line”) to Seminole Heights, where Tampa emo trio Spork also plays support for Greensboro, North Carolina quartet Charm, which is touring behind a cozy and compact new album, Living Room, which it is officially releasing at this record-store gig. Those headed out to the show should consider dancing shoes since frontman Bailey Alley croons like a disco-punk Sinatra on handsome album highlight “Gaze.” This show is early (7 p.m.), all-ages (bring little sister, with earplugs), and affordable ($5), too.

Charm w/Vic Alvarez/Spork. Sat. July 21, 7 p.m. $5. Microgroove, 4906 N Florida Ave., Tampa. facebook.com/theboltpresents.
