Relying on rotating band mates, multi-talented, multi-cultural Jannis Noya Makrigiannis (his family history includes Danish, Greek and Indonesian influence) formed Choir of Young Believers as a solo project in 2006: sometimes the band performs as a duo, sometimes there are seven people on stage (he recently performed with a 50-piece symphony orchestra).

“I’ve always been into playing different instrumental lineups,” the ex-member of the Danish band: Lake Placid said. “I really like that you can play one song in many different ways and then it expresses different things.”
