There is so much new music that's sitting on my desk right now and that makes me giddy. I'm stoked to be able to share some of those new jams with you on this week's Tune-Up. Are you ready to zone out for the next hour with the most intriguing playlist on the net? Take a look below to see a few of the new tunes that grabbed my ears. Don't forget to follow the Weekly Tune-Up on Spotify!
Philly band Suburban Living are makers of dreamy bedroom rock, and "Lovely Times" proves they excel at it. They just released Almost Paradise this past Friday, an album that I spent some time with. Dreamy guitars, reverb vocals and a subtle, but catchy hook, what's not to like? The ease of listening is what really grabbed me. "Lovely Times" finds a way in, and without forcing itself.
Cosima is an artist I knew very little about until recently, including her new single, "Girls Who Get Ready." But damn, do I really like what she's bringing to the table. Here the U.K. singer/songwriter is blurring the lines of sultry soul and '80s pop music into one hell of a self empowerment jam. Deep baselines traced with synth compliment Cosima's laid back flow perfectly.
"I don't wanna to be a faceless lover. I don't wanna be the freak with you fuck with," Cosima pleads and gets her point across in a song that clocks in less than three and half minutes. Impressive. I'll be looking forward to whatever she comes with next.

We finally can see the light of their debut LP from Palace, an album I've been patiently waiting for. They've released various songs and even an EP over the last few years, but now their long-awaited debut full-length So Long Forever will hit the shelves and internet on November 4th. Palace have this blues-rock sound along with lead vocalist Leo Wyndham's passionate and distinctive lyrics that paint a very vivid picture.
"It's Over" indeed gives you the mental picture of sorrow, struggle and the inevitable end. Palace needs to be a band on your radar if any of the above sounds appealing.
