On its aggressive, aptly-titled latest album Nuisance, the all-female, North Carolina “queer punk” band Babe Haven gets pretty serious about how it wants to claw a whiny bitch-boy in the face for flashing a weird look.

In recent months especially, there’s been no love like conservative Christian hate, so even if you have reason to not be up for another boiling hot St. Pete Pride later this month, is there really anything like a punk show by—and for—queer folks to remind you to be proud?

The show presented by Love Your Rebellion also includes Tampa pop rock band Peace Cult, Fort Meyers thrash grrl punk act Except You, and Tampa nu metal hardcore girl band Skratch.

Tickets are $22 for Babefest happening Saturday, June 14 at Crowbar in Ybor City.
