For fans of country and Americana, there are very few more heartwarming feelings than the one that arrives when Willie Nelson’s weathered voice moves through a PA system. The 85-year-old country-music icon has been in some hilarious headlines lately (retired NBA coach Don Nelson is blaming his new appreciation for pot on Nelson), and he’ll put some smiles on the faithful gathered in the grandstands at the Florida Strawberry Festival for this afternoon set. Brothers Osborne plays the evening concert, and tickets to the shows are separate from admission to the Strawberry Festival. Martina McBride, Terri Clark, Pam Tillis, Home Free, Needtobreathe, and Kool and The Gang are just some of the acts scheduled to play this week.
