Coachella just got canceled again, but you can still fest at Winterland at Lakeland’s Maddox Ranch, which is, as you can gleam from the name, entirely outside.
The weekend party consists of camping, or glamping if you prefer, and a whole bunch of Dead cover bands including a teen version—TributeToad People. Musicians Thomas Wynn (pictured) and Patrick Hagerman will also be festing, covering Bob Dylan and The Band. Allman Brothers tribute band Steelin’ Peaches will also join Row Jomah doing the Talking Heads.
Winterland is advertised as all ages, and at 50% capacity. Bringing your own booze is allowed, and you better bring your own hand-sanitizer and masks while you’re at it.
