For years, Tampa songwriter Will Quinlan’s been more-or-less the king of folky melancholia, but on a new song, “Radio Life,” he taps into a little bit of power-pop for an anthem that’ll please fans of both The Kinks and Hollies alike.

He plays a free show at this equally-loved Seminole Heights watering hole that’s encouraging attendees to wear their best Quinlan attire (flannel, jeans, glasses and a hat). Powerhouse vocalist, and world-class whistler, songwriter Kaleigh Baker opens the show along with Adam Randall.

Tickets to see Will Quinlan, Kaleigh Baker, and Adam Randall at Tampa’s Independent Bar & Cafe on Sunday Oct. 29 are no cover.
