Whether it’s a darkwave dance party or a classic-rock tribute show, WMNF Tampa 88.5-FM stays busy booking live events, and this festival in its eighth year has become a staple for the community radio station.

Every kind of ukulele will be in action this weekend at St. Pete’s Cage Brewing—bass, electric, banjo and acoustic—all in the hands of homegrown talent that plays the little instrument better than the rest of the scene.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own ukes and take part in the All-Ukulele Strum-Along to Jimmy Buffett and Jimi Hendrix of the Ukulele contest. Kids under 12 get in free.

Tickets to see WMNF’s 8th annual Ukulele Festival featuring Ari Chi, The Chris Tracy Duo, Jct 27, and more at St. Pete’s Cage Brewing on Saturday, Dec. 2 are still available and cost $20.
