Tampa DJ Justin Layman has a ton of shit on his computer that never sees the light of day, and many of those things are live DJ sets recorded at Ol' Dirty Sundays. Layman, better known as DJ Casper, co-founded the weekly old hip hop, soul, funk and reggae party almost six years ago, and his New Year's resolution is to put more work out and be more productive in general.

"I'm getting a head start," Layman, 36, told CL last month after uploading a handful of sets — including some from DJ Evil Dee, Tony Touch and Scram Jones — to the ODS Mixcloud page. The crazy part is there are still sets we may never ever hear despite what Capser posts.

"All the sets are recorded to my computer at ODS, and if the guys give me the green light I post it," he said. Sometimes technical issues or techniques used during certain routines will prevent a set from hitting the web.

"I have so much stuff from DJ's that I can't post unfortunately," he added. "[What we have posted] allows people that can't come every Sunday or have never been a chance to catch a glimpse into the night."
