Zachary Bartholomew, the piano-playing professor of music at Florida Memorial University has been praised by the late Ray Coussinsโ€”an accompanist for Frank Sinatraโ€”and has taught at a handful of Miami-area universities.

Dr. Bartholomew just staged a Chick Corea tribute in Georgia, and will change gears when his trioโ€”including bassist Marty Quinn and drummer Rodolfo Zunigaโ€”performs the music of modern jazz legends Thelonious Monk and Bud Powell.

Tickets to see Zachary Bartholomew Trio play Side Door Cabaret at Palladium Theater in St. Petersburg are still available and start at $25.
