We know you’ve heard this before: ZZ Top is coming to Tampa Bay.

Today, the duo fronted by the epically-bearded Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill announced an October 19 show at Tampa’s MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre.

The group has been scheduled to play the area several times in the past, but Hill, 69 has fallen ill or been injured almost every time, forcing the band to cancel the shows.

Still, fans (especially those who are fans of the show’s opener, Cheap Trick), are probably going to want to buy tickets to this 50th anniversary tour. They go on sale to the public on Friday, April 12. More information is available via livenation.com.
