Reps at Amalie Arena took to Instagram Tuesday morning, with a video of the jumbo screen in Thunder Alley showing the words โpeace outโ in the style of Aerosmithโs logo, used since 1982โs Rock in a Hard Place. Around the same time, the band behind โDream Onโ posted a cryptic message of its own: The logo in black and white logo, with a caption indicating that something will happen at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 1.
Guitarist Joe Perry recently revealed to The Boston Globe that plans to take on a 40-plus-date U.S. tour in the fall were underway, and to be announced before summertime.
He added that itโs unlikely that drummer Joey Kramerโwho lost his wife last summerโwill return to the kit for this run of shows. His drum tech, John Douglas has been filling in, and will most likely stay in the repertoire throughout the bandโs first major run of U.S. shows since 2015.
We donโt have a solid date or ticket prices yet, but weโll update this post when said details are revealed.
