Are you listening?

Jimmy Eat World is one of those bands that always seems to play headlining shows everywhere else in Florida not called Tampa Bay, but that sort-of changes this summer thanks to the local baseball team (coincidentally the band played the since-shuttered baseball-themed Innings Festival in 2021).

The Tampa Bay Rays announced three artists for its summer concert series today, including a July date from the emo hero, plus shows from country dude Riley Green, and fucking-awesome-rap-and-R&B-guy who can actually do really good country shit, T-Pain.

The postgame concerts at Tropicana Field are included with game tickets, but you’ll have to purchase an additional postgame wristband ($30-$40) to get on the Trop playing field for the concerts.

Here’s the schedule for the 2024 Tampa Bay Rays concert series:
  • Jimmy Eat World (Friday, July 26 v. Cincinnati Reds)
  • Riley Green (Saturday, Aug. 10 v. Baltimore Orioles)
  • T-Pain (Friday, Aug. 16 v. Arizona Diamondbacks)
The Rays are currently wrapping up Spring Training, and play a sold-out home opener in St. Petersburg on Thursday, March 28 against the Toronto Blue Jays.
