We’re still broken about the 2018 death of Ralph Santolla, who played with Tampa metal giant Obituary for five years. But the group, which already rocked Tampa’s Orpheum one last time this year, is always open to a homecoming gig—and will stage one on Saturday at Brass Mug.

It’s been said that Obituary has been working on a new album since COVID-19 hit, with a release scheduled sometime this year.

In the meantime, you might get to hear new songs for the first time at the Mug (a short walk from the soon-to-open new Orpheum, by the way), alongside Intoxicated, Three Knuckles Deep, Corrupted Saint, and Cold Steel.
