Off With Their Heads’ last Bay area show was acoustic and at a tattoo shop, so local fans will be glad to see the Minneapolis outfit plugged in for this rock venue gig alongside the furry costumed crusaders of Wolf-Face.

UPDATE 08/09/21 1:30 p.m.
This show has been canceled due to the rise in coronavirus cases in Florida. "There was no Delta variant when this was booked, but we thought we would try and see if shows could responsibly happen. Even though I believe most people that come to the shows are vaccinated, we don’t want to head to an area that is struggling with hospital capacity.," the band wrote. See the full statement on social media.

Comedian Ben Roy is the funny meat in this punk-rock sandwich, which will provide a nice relief in between the raging. Roy’s “Running for Erections” bit will have you crying—and not the usual pandemic-crying we’ve all been doing.

Since Florida is drowning in COVID cases, with no help from our governor, venues are changing policies again. Crowbar General Manager/co-owner and NIVA activist Tom DeGeorge told CL that the following statement is going out to anyone attending a show at the Ybor venue: “Please remember that our hospitals are filling up and our cases in Hillsborough County are SURGING so it’s important to be extremely cautious. If you choose to attend we suggest you wear a mask for your safety. Whether you’ve been vaccinated or not; if you are not feeling well please stay home.” And depending on the artist's request, things can, and probably will, change.

Just be good, OK?
