Tampa's New World Brewery is set to welcome its rowdiest show yet this weekend when Valient Thorr plays the music hall there on Saturday, July 2.

The southern-rock metal heavyweight was supposed to break in the new Orpheum location in North Tampa, but the venue’s still not ready to go, so the Carolina outfit will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its debut album Stranded on Earth at a venue just few miles away.
The band is named for an alien who came from Venus to earth and famous scorching sets of headbanging rock. Be prepared, and get there early to see the absolutely bonkers show from Tampa hard-rock band Mindwash.
