What's your big idea?
Or more to the point, where's your big idea?
The deadline for submissions to the 10/100/1000 Challenge is today, April 5, at 5 p.m.
That means you've only got till the end of the business day today to submit your idea for making Tampa Bay a better place to live — and win $1,000.
Also, let your friends and supporters know they still have time to vote for your project to become the Readers' Choice winner, which automatically places your proposal into the top 10, from which the grand prize winner will be chosen. Voting will close Monday, April 9, at 5 p.m.
Creative Loafing and Creative Tampa Bay jointly sponsor 10/100/1000. Last year's challenge generated scores of great ideas, from which our judges chose the 10 most promising and awarded one — Swings Tampa Bay — the $1,000 top prize.
You've no doubt seen Swings all over the area since; their idea, hanging handpainted swings in unexpected places, is now spreading worldwide. They weren't the only applicants who benefited from 10/100/1000; finalists like Carissa Caricato of Hoola for Happiness (pictured) and Readers' Choice Winner The Roosevelt 2.0 are still going strong.
