Circle 10/10/10 on your calendar. That’s the date. The place is wherever you live. And the point is to do something that will help deal with global climate change in your city or community.
In our community, we will start with a tree dedication/planting at the USF St. Pete campus at 9 a.m. with USF students. Students and volunteers will ride bikes south to Little Bayou Park, arriving around 10 a.m. We'll hold our main event (with snacks) at Little Bayou Park. There we will be giving away trees and plants and doing some clean-up and invasive plant removal. There will also be a tour of the urban forest, live music, climate change song showcase, Solar Source demonstrations, free bike tune ups from Trek Bicycle Store, a raffle and other fun events!
