Florida GOP Senate candidate Adam Hasner is busy cultivating grass roots support, and today he announced his his Hillsborough County Grassroots Leadership Team.
The former state representative is in a dogfight to break out of the pack of candidates for the nomination. A Quinnipiac poll released earlier this month showed Hasner fourth in a tightly packed group of candidates, trailing not only arch rival George LeMieux, but also Mike McCallister and Craig Miller, neither of whom have ever held public office.
None of the four cracked over 15 percent support, with over half of those surveyed saying they didn't have a candidate yet for the election, which remains a full year away.
