"We discovered a strength we didn't know that we had." So says one of the interviewees in Stonewall Uprising, an acclaimed new documentary about the Greenwich Village riots and their empowering effect on the gay rights movement. The film, which one critic has called an "essential new history," gets its local premiere tonight as part of the month-long St. Pete Pride celebration.
