National and local anti-war organizations paired up Thursday afternoon outside of the Largo offices of national defense giant Raytheon in protest of the defense contractor’s role in drone warfare.

“We have been seeing these drones are being used around the world, and are really appalled by the proliferation of drones and how this is taking us into a world of chaos and lawlessness while these companies are gaining so much profit,” said Medea Benjamin, co-founder of anti-war organization Code Pink, and author of Drone Warfare: Killing by Remote Control, which addresses the growing use of drones in modern warfare.
