Is it an Inconvenient Truth that a majority of Floridians, for whatever reason, have yet to fully embrace a Kendrick Meek Senate candidacy.
Former Vice President Al Gore has been recruited to help get Kendrick Meek back in the game in the U.S. Senate campaign, and will be with the Miami Democrat in a campaign appearance next Thursday night in Tampa.
No official time has been set for when the event will be begin, but those with tickets will be able to get inside the Letter Carriers Hall at 4:45 p.m. on September 30. That's located at 3003 W. Cypress Street in Tampa.
Reserved seating can be obtained (maybe) by calling 1-877-354-6335 or going to www.KendrickMeek.com/AlGore.
Beginning Thursday, tickets can also be picked up in two locations:
In St. Pete, at the Pinellas DEC office, 2250 1st Avenue North, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. In Tampa, they could be picked up at the Campaign for Accountability Field Office at 3009 W. Barcelona St. same times.
For Gore it will be the first time on the campaign trail in Florida this year.
