To the delight of liberals in Florida and beyond, pugnacious former Orlando area Democratic Congressman Alan Grayson announced on Monday that he will run again for federal office in 2012.
The fire breathing liberal was part of the wave of Democrats who swept to office in 2008 – and among those same Democrats who were thrown out of office in the Republican tsunami of 2010 – in his case pretty overwhelmingly, as he lost his bid for re-election for Florida's 8th Congressional District by eighteen percentage points to Republican Daniel Webster.
But the 53-year-old Grayson told reporters on Monday that he intends to do nothing differently in 2012 – though at this point he has no idea what district he'll be running in.
