For the past 17 years, Creative Loafing has honored the community's most commendable people, places and things with our annual Best of the Bay issue. The winners are comprised of candidates chosen by CL's own group of savvy pundits and by loyal readers who've cast ballots for their favorites. This year, we've planned a very special (somewhat tongue-in-cheek) red carpet awards ceremony so that you, our loyal readers, can get all gussied-up and find out whether or not your favorite sports bar or theater company or tattoo parlor or Bucs player, has won a much-coveted "Best of" award. The Best of the Bay 2007 Awards Show is hosted by comedian/Studio 10 host Tim Wilkins and features live performances by local talents — singer/songwriter Lorna Bracewell, hip-hop duo Blac Soap and contemporary pop rockers The Ditchflowers.
