In the wake of Milton and Helene, Tampa residents who need laundry done can get it for free with the help of the Laundry Project
This week, laundry can be done for free on select days in Tampa at Big Wash in College Hill (3610 N 29th St).
No sign-in is required; all attendees have to do is walk in during those hours.Laundry Project provides the quarters and the laundry supplies to ease the financial burden of having clean clothes.
Big Wash College Hill will be participating in the Laundry Project free laundry days twice this week.
- Friday, Oct. 18 2 p.m.-5 p.m
- Saturday, Oct. 19 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
The Laundry Project is a movement by Current Initiatives that assists families with meeting basic needs. To help St Pete and Tampa residents with ongoing recovery efforts, the nonprofit organization is setting up free laundry days at two local laundromats.
