The city of Tampa has postponed the meeting of its Armory redevelopment selection committee set for Wednesday. In an e-mail to the six bidders on the project, the city's Annie Hart said a committee member was unable to attend due to a family emergency. The committee had been expected to choose a winner, or at least a leading contender.
The city reset the meeting for Tuesday, Aug. 1, at 2:30 PM in the 5th floor conference room of the Tampa Police Department building at 411 N. Franklin St.
The city is helping select a redevelopment proposal for the Fort Homer Hesterly Armory in West Tampa. You can read about the six different proposals at the Weekly Planet or in an earlier post.
